The potential candidate will drive complex and critical designs and will be instrumental in developing some of the complex development topics and would work closely with other members of the team and other functional groups within Ariba Technologies as a whole. The role demands technical expertise in software development in AI/ML, web technologies including UI based frameworks (UI5, Angular JS, bootstrap), web services (REST/CXF), MVC frameworks (spring boot), handling production issues and complex requirements for customers.

Experience (Role Requirements):

• Drive the development of certain complex and high impactful topics.
• Act as a contact point for technical queries by the team, effectively using the technical expertise.
• Drive the research, provide an in-depth analysis, and the effort requirement need for the development
• Drive the resolution of production/application issues, customer requests and inquiries, without escalations.
• When the opportunity presents itself and it is appropriate, works with a team or individually, to educate and empower the customer to understand how to perform tasks and investigations on their own.
• Drive the POCs and side projects motivating a set of developers as needed and assigned.

What it takes:

• 10 plus years of experience in coding web-based applications
• Excellent leadership and agile development skills
• Sound knowledge of Computer Science areas and fundamentals
• Excellent knowledge with hands-on experience in AI/ML
• Proficiency in Core Java and Web services.
• UI based technologies such as UI5, Angular JS, bootstrap, React etc.
• Good hold on HTTP protocol and related technologies
• Good understanding of deployment environments, configuration of applications, change management principles.
• Should possess understanding of least one RDBMS system.
• Basic UNIX/Linux knowledge
• Experience in Enterprise web applications, HTML, XML, Web Services
• Knowledge of Application Servers, Web Servers
• Good Team player and Good Communication skills.
• Excellent skills in managing the stakeholders
