As a Partner Account Executive, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing strategic partnerships to maximize territory opportunities through new accounts and meeting sales quotas
  • Creating a high volume sales pipeline and ensuring forecast accuracy by articulating Akamai value to prospective customers
  • Increasing revenue by identifying the most productive contacts within the reseller partner
  • Collaborating with internal cross-functional teams to ensure the development and growth of the partnerships

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have relevant experience in Outside or Channel sales
  • Demonstrate an aptitude for building trusted relationships with partners across various levels of seniority
  • Display an ethical approach to sales, show integrity, personal motivation and be able to uphold Akamai values
  • Have experience within the technology industry and an enthusiasm to learn about internet and sales methodologies
  • Demonstrate exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills in English and Spanish
  • Demonstrate the ability to multitask, adapt and thrive within a dynamic work environment
