As a Software Development Engineer in Thermal Control Systems Quality for Apple products, you’ll: - Design, develop, and run test plans to validate the Thermal Control System Architecture.- Develop and Implement automation frameworks, design analysis tools to integrate hardware and software features, analyze test results, and report defects to ensure compliance and mitigate risks. - Write clean, maintainable, and production code with documentation for the automation framework, data analysis and visualization tools. - Contribute to architecture decisions, design reviews, and peer code.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Systems Design Engineering or related Engineering field.
  • 2+ years of experience developing and understanding test automation frameworks and libraries with Object Oriented Programming languages (e.g. Python, C++, Objective C).
  • Knowledge of control theory and basic embedded systems
  • Must be highly motivated, self-starter with a passion for innovation, integrity and attention to details.
  • Experience in data analytical & visualization tools such as Tableau
  • Strong QA fundamentals, innovative test strategy, statistical analysis, automation framework development, and data analysis.
  • Experience in developing test plan, assessing risk, filing appropriate defects, and providing relevant data for test reporting.
  • Ability to develop in-depth understanding of technical issues quickly to triage and drive HW/SW/System integration issue resolution across multi-functional teams.
  • Drive what matters, using informed data-driven decisions with strong organizational and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
