Use data to inform hardware design decisions, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that designs meet performance, reliability, and cost targets
Debug complex component interactions at the vehicle level
Design and develop electrical systems, including power electronics, controls, and communication systems
Create prototypes, testing and validating designs in a real-world setting
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, firmware, and test engineering, to ensure that designs meet system-level performance requirements
Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, and validation reports
What You’ll Bring
Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience
Experience with data analysis and visualization tools, such as Python, Tableau, Power BI, SQL
Familiarity with electrical system design, including power electronics, controls, and communication systems
Strong understanding of data-driven decision making and its application to hardware design
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Experience with field deployed hardware in the automotive or transportation industry
Familiarity with automotive networking protocols, such as CAN, LIN, or Ethernet
Knowledge of power semiconductors and electric motors
