Duties:
- Investigate and help remedy reported vulnerabilities: Validate, analyze and assess them, then help design and validate security patches. Answer questions they may raise, and escalate when appropriate.
- Find and report unknown vulnerabilities in Fortinet products via fuzzing, source code auditing, and innovative research methods.
Skills:
- Solid security background with a good understanding of vulnerabilities at source-code level, in-depth understanding of asymmetric cryptography and web protocols; high proficiency in Python or Golang is a plus .
- Must be detail oriented and a team player, able to follow processes thoroughly and to interact effectively within the team, and with other departments alike.
- Experience in Static and Dynamic Application Security Testing tools, source code auditing, vulnerability research, pentesting methodologies and fuzzing tools a plus .
- Experience with Kubernetes and OpenStack a plus .
- Good understanding of Fortinet products line-up a plus .
Education:
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent.
- MS in Computer science preferred.
- 2-3 years working experience.
