Job Description

U.S. Bank is seeking the position of Principal Systems Engineer (multiple positions) in Atlanta, GA.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and support database solutions and enhancements for technology services and infrastructure.
  • Develop and drive multi-platform converged enterprise engineering solutions to meet existing, enhanced, and new platform solutions for business and infrastructure services.
  • Evaluate product and service solutions.
  • Guide and recommend cross-functional team targeted for system enhancements for system performance, reliability, scalability, and capacity.
  • Perform capacity planning, backup and recovery, upgrade databases, and implement and test disaster recovery.

Basic Qualifications:

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, followed by 5 years in a progressively responsible Database Administrator, or related, occupation.

Required Skills/Experience:
Must include 5 years of experience with each of the following:

IT environment; Oracle 19c, Oracle OEM, Oracle Exadata, Oracle Performance tuning, and Oracle Goldengate; Quest TOAD, AWS, DBA, PL/SQL, and PowerShell; Configuration management, including Ansible; Backup and Recovery; Systems Scripting using Shell, Perl, and SQL; Contingency and disaster recovery; and Product and vendor evaluation.

Teams may work from home and the office.Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $127,878- $164,100(#LI-NDI #LI-DNI #LI-DNP #DE-DNP).
