A day in the life
As a Senior Software Development Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development of services to support automation of the Kuiper mission. You will work with a dynamic group of passionate engineers and collaborators across peer teams to identify customer needs, design novel solutions that meet stakeholder requirements, and write software to enable automation of key behaviors for our constellation's space and ground assets. You will be building low-latency, highly-scalable architectures that ensure our mission plans are achieved safely and effectively.

- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
- 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team

- 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Experience with AWS cloud-native software development
- 1+ years experience working on ground software for space mission applications
