As an Asset Servicing Client Service Associate within Prime Middle Office, you will be supporting the Prime business from an operational perspective and maintaining stringent controls of all corporate action events.

Job responsibilities

  • Act as first point of contact for external clients on all corporate action events, ensuring event details are accurately reported to clients with the correct terms and response deadlines in line with global SLAs
  • Manage front to back event lifecycle from event verification to election solicitation, and booking confirmation
  • Communicate open issues to our clients and internal stakeholders in a clear and concise manner, with full understanding of the issues and solution
  • Partner with other Operational teams internally to ensure smooth processing of any bespoke event requirements
  • Manage and explain complex/technical mechanics involved in high-risk corporate action events to clients
  • Identify proactively on opportunities for process improvement to deliver to business whilst ensuring a globally consistent operating model
  • Handle ad-hoc project work

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in middle office function
  • Working understanding of Equities, Bonds, and Swap products; and their relevant process flows is a necessity
  • English, spoken written to a high business standard, excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop strong working relationships with marketers, external clients, traders and other support teams
  • Must be a self-starter with the motivation, demonstration of initiative, and ownership mentality to think outside of the box as necessary
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to take ownership and responsibility and skillset to properly escalate issues to management, controls team and front office sales and trading teams
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a high-pressure environment
  • Ability to drive and manage global initiatives and projects driven by the business, industry or operations and strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Strong communication skills required for regular service review meetings with clients and strong analytical skills, including the ability to understand the external client’s perspective when applying solutions
  • Creative problem solving with a focus on improving client relationships and exceptional attention to detail

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience supporting Prime business is preferred
  • Ability to pick up complex systems architecture quickly
  • Knowledge of VBA / SQL and experience with digital tools such as Xceptor, Alteryx, Tableau, Robotics, etc. would be an asset
