Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
  • OR equivalent experience.

Other Requirements:

• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

As a Software Engineer II you will:

• Understand the design, code, and features of many different areas, and quickly come up to speed.
• Design and implement services that are high scale, low latency, always on, and low cost tomaintainand operate.
• Influence other developers tocome up withthe right design and architecture for their components and make them the model for common patterns going forward.
• Build good partnership and influence skills and be both motivated and able to work across multiple sub-teams spanning Microsoft 365, Azure, and .NET to deliver engaging engineering systems.
• Analyze and make decisions based on complex and ambiguous data points.
• Dive deep into performance and software reliability problems, discover patterns and democratize this knowledge.
