As a Conduct Risk Compliance and Violation Framework Governance Vice President within the Compliance Conduct and Operational Risk (CCOR) organization, you will be responsible for core governance and challenge activities spanning across two distinct, but interconnected risk management frameworks, promoting a consistent and effective approach to compliance and conduct risk management across the firm. Your role will require you to work closely with various stakeholders across different functions within the employee conduct ecosystem such as Lines of Business, Corporate Functions, HR, GS, and CCOR. You will need to demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, exceptional analytical and risk management skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities at the same time.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage core governance activities across CCOR Violation Frameworks (VFs), including periodic framework effectiveness, sustainability, and calibration reviews
- Perform ad hoc CCOR VF deep dives driven by independent analysis or insights derived from core governance activities and identify opportunities to improve framework consistency and effectiveness
- Provide guidance to CCOR VF stakeholders on adherence to minimum Standard requirements and drive a consistent operating model across VFs
- Support the quarterly Conduct Risk Appetite process, including governance oversight and second line challenge of 1LOD Conduct Risk Appetite Assessments
- Analyze, synthesize, and evaluate qualitative and quantitative data to provide insights and recommendations to nudge behavior
- Manage framework documentation and content, including published Standards and Procedures, governance materials and stakeholder communications, and summaries and presentations to be shared with internal and external stakeholders
- Coordinate and lead governance meetings and working groups, promoting transparency and collaboration between cross-functional stakeholders
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of second line risk management (operational risk and compliance) practices
- High degree of initiative, self-direction, and attention to detail, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to establish credibility and strong partnerships with cross-functional stakeholders
- Strong written communication skills, with intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 5+ years of financial services experience with demonstrated progression of responsibilities (Operational Risk/Conduct Risk, Compliance, or Control Management experience preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to own end-to-end processes
