Duties: Define development, testing, release strategy, and support process for Release operations. Run release strategy meetings to define release for change control process for Digital, Core, and CRS applications. Support release planning for sprint based agile program across multiple environments. Support Incident Management across complex IT environments with several non-prod environments. Direct problem management for permanent issue mitigation. Conduct server monitoring and error handling using Splunk and AppDynamics with quick turnaround to ensure minimal testing downtime. Implement change management for code and infrastructure changes. Implement Release management and deployment planning for Development, UAT, and Prod-Like environment. Code Synch up between various environments. Sprint integration, regression, and prod like environment readiness. Automate the lift and shift of code between environments. Setting up the required tools and infrastructure for OpenShift enablement. Function as a Dev Support to close out any hurdles during the microservice migration. Automate change management for open shift and create checklists for microservice deployments. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.
Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering (any) or related field and 5 years of progressively responsible, post-baccalaureate experience as a Tech Lead, Consultant, Engineer or related position responsible for Incident and Problem Management across complex IT environments Must have experience with: Defining change control process for digital, core and CRS applications, identifying Green Zones for developers to deploy changes and creating deployment checklists; Development Lifecycle/Infrastructure and using WebSphere, Tibco, Oracle, Cloud platform, and microservices; Problem management for permanent issue mitigation; Server monitoring and error handling using Splunk, AppDynamics, BSM and Agave; Automating the change management process to improve developer experience; Coding synch ups between UAT and PERF environments and readiness for Sprinting integrations, regression, and product like environments; Supporting migration from PCF to OpenShift; and Identifying and planning patches for servers, automating patch management, and triggering, observing and troubleshooting parches and issues.
