What you will do will be varied day to day, but the key drivers for the role are:

  • Be a producing member of the UK Leveraged FX Sales team, actively covering a portfolio of Global Hedge Fund clients and back up clients covered by the desk when needed, offering the full range of FX products and services with a focus on FX products in a macro environment.
  • Work closely to understand client needs with the aim of increasing client satisfaction and Citi revenue, through the maintenance of existing relationships but also by driving new client partnerships across the franchise, driving P&L, providing global macro insights and thought leadership, and generating trade ideas.
  • To work closely and form strong relationships with their desk, global coverage partners, across product and trading
  • Coordinate thought leadership resources for the desk, and developing and mentoring junior talent
  • Implementation the broader strategy for the Leveraged client segment, as well as staying on top of the regulatory and industry changes and competitive landscape
  • Communicate regularly on all aspects of the business; results, market themes, successes, issues to desk head, global coverage partners and any other relevant stakeholders
  • Adhere to and cascade all FX supervisory training and tools to assist in creating a culture of responsibility to our clients, our shareholders and each other
  • Lead strong governance and controls through close partnerships with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, Finance to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructure.
  • Obtain and maintain all registrations/licenses which are required for your role, within the appropriate timeframe.

What we will need from you:

  • To be considered for this role, it is imperative that you have experience of working in a client facing role within the FX markets and Hedge Fund industry.
  • You will need to evidence a proven track record within your role as a leveraged FX client coverage person and be able to demonstrate a deep understanding of the Leveraged and Asset management industries
  • Due to the nature of this role, you will display excellent communication skills as you interact with clients, but also with internal teams and partners, where you will be expected to establish and manage relationships in order to work effectively
