Role Type: Solution Architect
You will be responsible Create sound project plans with the business by engaging with multidisciplinary teams, and by identifying, managing and mitigating risk
You will be responsible to develop relationships across the business to understand data requirements, applies deep technical knowledge of data management to solve business problems in areas where solutions may not currently exist, necessitating new solutions / ways of working / technologies and proactively articulating these to the business
Your key responsibilities
- As AMS Solution architect, the candidate will be responsible for costing of AMS solution to new and as well as existing clients of EY. The responsibility includes:
- Costing of solution, staffing of AMS teams.
- Building solution based on the commercial model.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required to lead and motivate technical teams that deliver quality services.
- Create proposals and participate client orals.
- Demonstrated experience in working with external resource providers and managing key vendor contacts to deliver value that is consistent with expenditure.
- Create and deliver presentations that engage audience participants and respond to their questions and concerns Present complex and difficult messages skilfully
- Understanding of resource management, communication management, cost management, risk management, quality management, integration management
- Consistently maintain team members' focus on identified team or business unit goals
- Strong knowledge and experience in all IT methodologies that will be used to guide the technical work of Technical Teams assigned to programs/projects
- Lead team for Design, Build and Operate AMS solutions
- Works across regions to create a market for defined AMS offerings and services, and to qualify and develop opportunities within those markets.
- Finding opportunities and mining engagements liaising with pre-sales, vendors and various other EY internal teams to ensure highest levels of services are delivered to our end users.
- Support member firm to win AMS engagements
- Possesses an understanding of IT Services: service offerings, technical standards and policies, technical and business strategies as well as organizational structure
Skills and attributes for success
- Demonstrate ability to conduct and lead outsourcing services assignments. Should have experienced in delivering large team (30 – 50 FTEs) across locations, in an onshore-offshore model.
- Stakeholder Expectation Management
- Design and deliver support and service solutions for Manages Service customers in line with ITIL and/or industry best practice
- Instill a high-performance culture in the team with a focus on teamwork, service excellence and ownership for resolving customer issues
- Be capable of identifying and implementing change within the team to ensure it can take on new service offerings.
- Contribute proactively to new service development.
- Work closely with the Technical Services Manager to ensure new customers are on-boarded with seamless handover / transition into “in-life” service
- Encourage open communication between team members, allowing the team to bring forward ideas on how they can collectively deliver a more effective service
- Set and cascade business objectives and targets to the team
- Ensure quality, up-to-date documentation exists for all service arrangements
- Provide input into the organizational strategy with particular focus into opportunities to grow and/or enhance the service offered
- Demonstrate man management and an ability to conduct and lead outsourcing services assignments
- People capability development and management for the practice
To qualify for the role, you must have
- 18+ years of AMS solutioning from a top tier Global Outsourcing services provider.
- Have solid technical understanding of AMS solutions
- High Level Understanding of Application (including infra/platform) Architecture
- Participation in pre-Sales, RFPs and driving solution creation with help of AMS Pre-sales lead
- Should have experience with managed services deal creation process
- Stakeholder Expectation Management
- Have excellent communication, influencing and customer management skills
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Certification in ITIL,TOGAF
Technologies and Tools
- AMS for SAP, JAVA, .NET, SharePoint Full stack application support.
