Description
- You will work from existing documentation to perform mechanical and environmental Reliability tests to characterize and evaluate new hardware designs.- Independently conduct experiments using mechanical and electronic equipment in a lab environment.- Use creative and innovative thinking to resolve technical problems.- Perform detailed first level failure analysis through cosmetic and functional evaluations.- Develop detailed test schedules with checkpoints and deadlines, promptly informing stakeholders of any changes.- Capture and present data in clear, regular updates to engineers.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Arts or Science in related fields, or five years equivalent experience
  • 2+ years experience with handheld and benchtop electronic tools, including multimeters, data acquisition systems, and power supplies.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, translating into excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Manage multiple fast-paced projects with large volumes and challenging deadlines.
  • Understand physics and electronics, applying creativity, common sense, and technical skills to solve complex problems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with sensors like accelerometers, strain gauges, load cells, and pressure sensors.
  • Proficient in MacOS, iOS, and Apple hardware.
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $117,832 and $205,500 annualized, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
