Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
  • OR equivalent experience.

• 3+ years work experience in Epic EHR architecture and its operations in highly available deployments and an understanding of hardware compute, network, and storage infrastructure and know how those components interact with the Epic software stack
• 3+ years work experience managing mission critical software like Epic or SAP in virtualized environments, ideally Azure

Other Requirements:

• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer ScienceOR related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript,orPython
  • OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
  • OR equivalent experience.
• 6+ years experience in investigating performance across the stack of mission critical workload like Epic or SAP and the underlying infrastructure and virtualization; and developing and scripting deployment automation of infrastructure and software and integrating and monitoring Epic systems into enterprise-wide solutions
• Experience in integrations between Epic systems and other Healthcare information systems. For example: Interface engines, PACs and other Medical Imaging technologies
• Previous experience working in global distributed teams with an understanding of hardware compute, network, and storage infrastructure and know how those components interact with the Epic software stack AND OR experience in Epic EHR architecture and its operations in highly available deployments
