Our Market Access team monitor population demographics and develop solutions to give patients access to our medicines. We act as both educators and advocates for our products, processes, and practices that help us revolutionize how our medicines create value in society.
A Senior Specialist responsible for Access Operations will report to the Director.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Policy and Outcomes Research teams within the region to deliver the integrated Regional Market Access Strategy for Global Pharma and New Products in Latin America with focus in Winrevair and other prioritized assets up to 12 months before first regulatory approval in Latin America.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess market potential, conduct competitive analysis, develop access strategies and providing input into regional/country business cases.
- Partner with Regional and local Medical Affairs / Outcomes Research teams in the development of real-world data/evidence and economic analyses to support value demonstration.
- Designing and conducting patient affordability analytics, access and reimbursement trackers and digital tools to measure access strategy execution.
- Oversee the Access Operations roles with focus on vendor management, deliverables and budget execution.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- Master’s degree in business administration, public health/epidemiology, health policy or health economics.
- At least 5 years of local/Latin America/United States/Global experience in one or more of the following functional areas: Market Access, Health Technology Assessment, Health Policy, New Products Launch in Pharma.
- Proven track record in achieving patient access in the public and private sector for Orphan Drugs and/or Specialty care products.
- Understanding of healthcare system archetypes and access pathways of major Latin America countries (Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico).
- Demonstrated ability to leverage Data and Analytics to support reimbursement pathways, consistent with the brand strategy and increase patient access.
- Strong ability to collaborate across the organization.
- Excellent interpersonal, influencing, negotiating and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong commercial orientation and business acumen.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills.
- Strong project management and operational skills.
- Fluent in English and Spanish or Portuguese.
