We are seeking aPrincipal Prototype Engineerto be a forefront of our software product development process, transforming visionary ideas into tangible prototypes. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, product management, and engineering, to create innovative software designs that meet ourhigh standardsof quality and functionality.

This role requires a unique blend of creativity, technicaland leadership skills. You will be accountable for effective idea explorations with real data and backend integration tothe novelty and appeal of the experience, as well as its real quality and feasibility.

Required Qualifcations

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
  • OR equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of track recordof leading software design projects from concept to production and understanding of software development methodologies, tools and processes.
• 2+ years of experience with backend systems, databases, and integrating real data into prototypes.

Other Requirements

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

• Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifictions

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science orrelated technical field AND 10+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, orPython
  • OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
  • OR equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in software design and prototyping, preferably in a technology-driven industry.
• Experience with user-centered design methodologies and usability testing.
• Knowledge of cloud services and infrastructure (e.g., Azure).
• Familiarity with agile development processes.
• Communicationand presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and technical information clearly.
• Ability to work independently and innovationto push the boundaries of software design and technology.
