Key Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in Cellular/RF Systems Engineering
- In-depth knowledge of receiver architectures from antenna to analog baseband processing and converter topologies
- Solid knowledge of Cellular Radio/3GPP Standards (UMTS, LTE, LTE-A, 5G NR FR1, 5G NR FR2) which includes RF aspects as well as system use cases
- Proven understanding of RF circuit impairments and experience with calculation their system impact
- Algorithmic understanding of how to mitigate the impact of RF impairments
- Matlab is essential. Experience in an object oriented programming language like C++, Python is a plus
- Background in digital signal processing is highly welcome
- This role requires strong analytical thinking and the ability to collaborate and communicate in multi-cultural global teams
- BS and a minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience
Description
You develop and specify algorithms to control the signal quality and flow as well as calibration routines to mitigate RF impairments.As an individual contributor you will work closely with platform architecture, RF circuit design, RF firmware, productization teams and ultimately drive RF technology innovation to meet the challenges of next generation wireless components. Occasional travel including international may be required.
Education & Experience
BS and a minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience
