Duties: Develop and maintain software/systems. Update software to be compliant with new versions of platform tools, devices/browsers and operating system for customer facing digital applications and systems, including Java, Spring, iOS, Swift, Android, HTML, and CCS3. Troubleshoot, identify, document, and implement process and software improvements in Java, Spring, iOS, Swift, Android, HTML, and CCS3. Review source code and provide guidance cross-functionally. Design and develop digital software applications and services for component solutions supporting online platforms and other front-facing applications. Analyze business needs and collaborate cross-functionally to design and develop digital software applications. Work cross-functionally to define and document software to meet business objectives and implement tools to support software applications and services. Maintain digital application security to enhance user experience, eliminate security issues, and secure user data. Work with Information Security to identify and implement security requirements. Analyze and fix security issues from penetration testing and static code analysis. Collaborate with development operations to implement security tooling for Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery. Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policy.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, and six (6) years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Six (6) years of experience must include: Influencing multiple applications’ design and development by applying subject expertise in evaluating business operations and processes; API design and development of services enhancing the operations of digital product(s); Monitoring and controlling all phases of software development process, including analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation; Employing key architectural decisions on security measures in post implementation analysis of business usage impacting performance of enterprise software; Implementing REST Microservices architecture using Spring boot; Building and deploying scripts using Maven; Implementing components and test-driving development using Junit; Using Splunk for centralized logging and Jenkins for Microservices deployment; Providing end to end support to test activities during System Integration and User Acceptance Testing; and Performing code reviews, analyzing and fixing performance issues, and designing reviews with Architects. 40 hrs./wk.
