As a Manger in our Risk Consulting practice, you will manage and motivate teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Cultivate business development opportunities.
- Advise clients to understand and manage their business risks and verify the validity of their business information.
- Provide independent risk and project assurance insights to support clients deliver on their strategic intent and programs of work.
- Provide insights on project/program management best practices to support clients to continuously improve on project/program delivery.
- Provide risk insights to support your clients to make informed decisions on priorities.
- Work to provide strategic insights and support the delivery of large purposeful projects of work.
Your key responsibilities
- Leading and guiding the team and client to create and deliver internal audit plans for accomplishing engagement objectives and strategies which comply with professional standards.
- Advising clients to understand and manage business risks and verify the validity of business information.
- Nurturing client relationships to achieve service expectations, deliverables and outcomes.
- Delivering internal audits that address compliance, financial, operational and strategic risks, and assess the current state internal controls and framework in order to mitigate current and emerging risks in the clients’ industry.
- Keeping up to date with innovative assurance industry trends and briefing the engagement team on the client’s internal audit environment.
- Demonstrating a positive attitude by contributing energy and new ideas to team efforts and meetings.
What we’re looking for
Seeking an experienced program/project assurance and risk transformation manager for the role based in Sydney. In this role, the successful candidate will be required to lead the day-to-day delivery of individual program assurance reviews on a range of program or project specific topics.

- A Bachelor or Master’s degree qualification in business, project management, accounting or related discipline.
- Professional accreditations and qualifications will also be considered favourably (CA, CIA, P3M3, PRINCE2 Certifications, Governance, Risk & Compliance Management Certifications, PMO. Project Assurance Gateway Certifications.
- Prior experience in risk management, risk transformation, policy review or internal audit.
- Prior experience in program or project management, as well as familiarity with project management methods and project management practices
- Strong report writing experience and capability.
- May require travel to serve client needs.
