In this role, you will:
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of credit analysis across all leveraged credit products and credit markets
- Have a proven history of creating top-tier credit work product
- Possess dynamic leadership skills
- Maintain an activedialogue/relationshipwith the market’s credit investor base
- Be able to collaborate with business partners across groups
- Work with the Credit Sales and Trading businesses to align Credit Sector Strategy with Wells Fargo’s strategic priorities
- Prioritize clients across different market segments and balance sheet risk
- Determine the scope of market coverage and facilitating communication with business partners in sales, trading and syndicate
- Possess a thorough understanding of Sales & Trading compliance policies and the regulations that govern sector strategist conduct
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Securities Strategies experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- 4+ years of a broad market-segment / industry range of analyst experience
- Strong experience in analyzing complex capital structures, particularly within stressed / distressed companies
- Energetic, detail-oriented self-starter with excellent communication and management skills
- A team-oriented mindset that will work in close partnership with the various business teams and relevant support partners
- Prior desk-analyst experience
- Bloomberg and Microsoft Excel proficiency
- Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- A BS/BA degree or higher in business administration, economics, finance, or related field

- Ability to travel up to 15% or as needed

Pay Range
$144,400.00 - $300,000.00
