Lead financial audits and SOX compliance initiatives,identify and recommend control enhancements by leveraging data analysistechniques to provide management with outlined solutions to drive riskreduction, process improvement and cost reduction
Partner with business and utilize knowledge offinancial processes, financial reporting risk, and internal controls to design,evaluate, and monitor the Company’s internal controls over financialreporting.
Champion a risk-based approach to independentlyevaluate, plan, perform, summarize and communicate assigned risk assessmentsand audit activities across vehicle and energy business
Evaluate key risks in financial processes and proposechanges in control design to address risks efficiently
Lead special projects requested by the Audit Committeeof the Board around internal control assessments, and specialinvestigations
Prepare and provide written and oral reports,communications and/or presentations to management presenting observations andrecommendations for internal control improvement and facilitating managementaction plans
Drive continuous improvement of the department bybringing leading practice frameworks, audit process improvements, and thoughtleadership
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or equivalent experience
8+ years of experience in Financial Controls,Assurance, and Operational Audit (process and performance improvement, businesstransformation), Finance, or a blend of related experience in relevantindustries
Big 4 consulting experience within advisory or assurancepractice
CPA, CA, CIA, CPIM or other relevantcertifications
Ability to navigate through ambiguity, manage andcoordinate multiple project assignments simultaneously in a fast-paced,deadline-driven environment, accepting ownership and accountability of theprocess and delivering on commitments
Leadership skills including the ability to take charge,coach, interact with all levels of the organization, set objectives, and driveresults
Intensely curious, solution-oriented individual whowants to know what, where, when, how, and (most importantly) why processes workthe way they do
