Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, GoLang, Ruby or Python
OR equivalent experience.
Experience with:
Using Kubernetes and Terraform as frameworks for building cloud native applications
Cloud environments, preferably Azure
Working with community driven OSS projects driven on Github
Able to communicate in English in written and oral form

Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of authentication methods in cloud native environments, like OAUTH, SAML, MFA, SSO, Entra ID, certificate authorities
Experience with monitoring and telemetry in cloud native environments
Experience in Kubernetes architecture, setup/installation and the operation in production environments
Able to communicate in German in written and oral form
Responsibilities
You will be responsible to work with different line of business within SAP which deploy and integrate their SaaS and PaaS applications and platforms in Azure using Kubernetes or other open source frameworks.
You will work on analyzing and investigate deployments, develop solutions and work with the Azure Compute Engineering teams to improve and enhance the experience of SAP hosting and deploying their SaaS and PaaS services on the Azure platform.
Creates and implements code for a product, service, or feature, reusing code as applicable.
Contributes to efforts to break down larger work items into smaller work items and provides estimation.
Acts as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) working on-call to monitor system/product feature/service for degradation, downtime, or interruptions and gains approval to restore system/product/service for simple problems.
