- Lead and manage PPP projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, deliverables, and budgets.
- Provide expert commercial advice and guidance to clients, including government entities, private sector organizations, and other stakeholders involved in PPP projects.
- Conduct comprehensive feasibility assessments of PPP opportunities, evaluating project viability, risk factors, and financial models to determine project feasibility.
- Analyze financial models, conduct financial due diligence, and assess the financial viability of PPP projects, including revenue streams, cost structures, and risk-sharing mechanisms.
- Lead contract negotiations with public and private partners, ensuring optimal commercial terms, risk allocation, and alignment of interests among stakeholders.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders, including government agencies, lenders, legal teams, and consultants, to foster effective partnerships and facilitate project success.
- Identify and mitigate commercial risks associated with PPP projects, developing strategies to minimize project delays, cost overruns, and contractual disputes.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant legal and regulatory frameworks, ensuring compliance with PPP guidelines, procurement procedures, and industry best practices.
- Share expertise and best practices related to PPP projects within the organization, mentoring junior team members, and contributing to the development of internal knowledge resources.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, attend conferences, and engage in professional networks to expand your knowledge and contribute to thought leadership in the field of PPP.
Here's what you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, economics, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
- Proven experience in commercial advisory roles, with a focus on Social infrastructure projects.
- Demonstrated experience in managing end-to-end PPP project lifecycle is essential. •Extensive knowledge and understanding of PPP frameworks, project structuring, financing models, and risk assessment.
- Strong financial analysis skills, including financial modeling, due diligence, and financial risk assessment.
- Proven track record of successfully leading complex contract negotiations, with the ability to balance the interests of multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate options, assess risks, and make informed decisions.
- Demonstrated experience in engaging and managing relationships with diverse stakeholders, including government entities, private sector partners, and financing institutions.
- Ability to lead and mentor a team of professionals, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
