The HW Design Engineer conducts target-oriented research to directly apply findings to the specification, design, further development, and incremental improvement of products, services, systems, tools, processes, etc. Integrates, verifies, tests, and modifies SW / HW / system components and capitalizes on innovative solutions to meet particular requirements and specifications.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

As a Hardware Engineer, you will:

  • Design complex, multilayer printed circuit boards
  • Drive and manage your design through the development process from concept to production release
  • Verify prototype hardware under thermal and environmental conditions
  • Work with test & manufacturing engineering to release a high-quality product
  • Support early manufacturing and customer issues
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

You have:

  • Minimum B.Sc or B.Eng in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
  • 10+ years of experience designing complex PCB designs
  • Understanding of Ultra high-speed PCB circuit design and methodologies
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, and leadership skills

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Experience with stack-up design, signal integrity simulation, and power circuitry
  • Familiarity with EMC/EMI/Safety and ITU/IEEE/Bellcore telecommunications standards
  • Programming/Scripting ability (C/Python)
