Your Responsibilities Include:
- Development comprehensive understanding of new products, key design features, internal processes, key components and suppliers, logistics, and overall business case.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams (PMO, R&D, PD) to identify material and component risks, create material action plans, and drive to completion.
- Influence design, process, and supplier through subject matter expert input and data.
- Develop knowledge of key components, component features, suppliers, and supplier processes.
- Drive execution of supplier management projects: delegating tasks, tracking project schedules, identifying risks, developing/executing contingency plans, and communicating appropriately.
- Remove or mitigate roadblocks that impact project success.
- Identify resource allocation needs, changes in project requirements, and other potential issues.
- Facilitate efforts between project and category teams to drive component production readiness, cost reduction, and design for manufacturability.
- Partner with direct purchasing and project teams to procure required materials on time.
- Identify Continuous Improvement opportunities to drive efficiency for the Material Program Management team and support product life cycle process
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in any engineering discipline with a minimum of 7 years of engineering experience.
- Project management experience with ability to manage large scale projects with complex logistics and across multiple teams and levels
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of medical device industry experience
- Experience managing large-scale and complex projects involving multiple functions and sites
- Ability to navigate ambiguous situations with strong conflict management and resolution skills
- Strong leadership skills with ability to influence change and drive performance cross-functionally
- Ability to communicate effectively with individuals on all levels (written and verbally)
- Results-oriented, strong organizational skills; ability to manage competing priorities effectively
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills; analytical and process-driven
- Customer service orientedwith strong interpersonal skills; ability to develop and maintain relationships
Maximum Salary: $ 188300
