Your responsibilities

Business partner driving value creation of the Personal Health Western Europe region:

  • Co-create Region strategy and develop long-term financial plans and projections.
  • Development of growth plans, including new propositions, channels, marketing strategies and go-to-market models.
  • Drive margin management via price, mix and cost improvements, underpinned by business cases.
  • Define and implement a fit-for-purpose organization at benchmark cost levels.
  • Optimize Cash Flow and Working Capital by managing AR, AP and Inventories.

Monitor business performance and drive action plans to deliver results:

  • Translate Strategic Plans into Annual Operational Plans.
  • Challenge and optimize business cases with follow up via post calculations.
  • Deployment and achievement of growth, profitability, and cash flow targets.
  • Own performance management of the region and advise on key business decisions.
  • Lead the discussion and preparation of quarterly rolling forecasts and monthly outlooks.
  • Support problem solving to ensure continued course correction and performance improvement.
  • Ensure a strong and efficient internal control environment and financial risk management.

Lead and develop the PH WE Finance team:

  • Lead and develop the PH Finance business partners located in the various zones.

To successfully perform the role of HoF PH Western Europe you should have:

  • Master level education in Finance, Accounting, or related field of study.
  • Min. 10 years of experience in finance gained in a market driven organization and stock listed company. Preferably, you have worked internationally in regional/market finance role.
  • Proven track record driving value creation and driving performance management with rigorous follow up on commitments made.
  • Profound experience in reviewing and challenging business cases that are consolidating into strategic and operating plans. You understand the business implications and underlining issues of the cases and plans.
  • Proven track record in partnering E2E with commercial and business stakeholders. As financial business partner you have translated financial results and data into business recommendations and improvement points driving the region forward.
  • Solid insight into financial systems and processes.
  • Skilled in financial/data analysis in excel and you are not afraid of digging into the numbers yourself.
  • Experience with presenting and providing advice to senior management.
  • Experience in leveraging the available resources around you; confidence and necessary skills to delegate work and influenced team members effectively.
  • Proven track record in stakeholder management in a cross-functional/matrix environment in which you have influenced the financial agenda.
  • Fluent in English – written and spoken.
  • Personality profile: pro-active attitude and initiator. Strong analytical skills and able to understand the underlying issues. High level of organizational sensitivity making you able to see things from the perspective of different stakeholders. Proven ability to influence decision making and deliver high quality results in a high-pressure environment. Well-developed communication and presentation skills.
