Minimum Qualifications
- 10 years in software development, with at least 6 years in a software organization management role.
- Deep understanding of computer hardware and software architecture
- Proven track record of driving technical innovation.
- Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and identify design and engineering impacts.
- Demonstrated ability to hire, grow, and mentor strong teams.
- A solution-oriented work ethic with a high degree of flexibility in supporting multiple projects with a range of complexity and priority.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to cross-functional teams and leaders.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and adeptness at fostering positive team dynamics.
- Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Self-motivated with a collaborative spirit to build strong relationships with other engineering teams and follow up on technical issues.
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or related fields of study with 10 years of overall experience in the industry.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with manufacturing or repair operations flows
- Ability to dive deep technically and understand the nuances of Apple products and systems.
- Experience with large-scale systems design, hardware diagnostics, and performance tuning.
- Experience with machine learning platforms and data science workflows.
Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $219,300 and $329,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
