As an Interaction Designer at IBM Research on the Product Incubation team, you’ll be contributing to converting early-stage technologies into real-world impact through a user-centered approach. You will design experiences that translate complex AI technologies into delightful, intuitive, and compelling prototypes to accelerate the lab-to-market pipeline.
Your role and responsibilities:
– Design the user experience of digital tools to explore potential applications for AI technology.
– Translate the complexity of early-stage technologies into intuitive and compelling solutions.
– Design and demonstrate detailed interaction design through storyboards, mock-ups, and clickable prototypes in Figma.– Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to understand constraints and requirements and provide creative solutions.
– At least 4 years of experience designing interactive digital experiences.– Proficiency working with Figma.
– Experience applying and extending design systems.
– Expertise designing AI applications or other highly technical products.
– Knowledge of Carbon Design System.– Experience with data visualization.
– Experience creating micro-animations.
