Senior Consultant – Financial Services - Data & Analytics – Data Products Management

Your key responsibilities
You will have the opportunity to shape client’s strategic data foundation for the future. In this role, you will connect Business product owners with Technology delivery teams using data to power applications and experiences for our Advisors and Investors. You will be accountable for multiple domains of data that power products including Finance, Risk & Regulatory control, and Customer.
Wealth And Wealth management focused: You will be accountable for multiple domains of data that power products including Advisor and Investor platforms, performance reporting, supervision, account lifecycle management, billing, compensation, trading, money movement, proposal generation, CRM, BI reporting and institutional data distribution, etc.
Skills and attributes for success
- Develop, document, and implement data quality rules in collaboration with engineering teams; ensure integration into pipelines and tools.
- Utilize SQL, DBT, Airflow or experience in data management platforms (e.g., Collibra, Alation) to enable data profiling, quality checks, and alerting.
- Investigate data anomalies, perform impact analysis, and collaborate with business and support teams on issue resolution and root cause analysis.
- Create and update data dictionaries, lineage diagrams, and business glossaries using governance tools or manual documentation processes.
- Work with stakeholders to define data requirements, business rules, and logic specifications for pipelines, APIs, and analytics solutions.
- Help enforce data standards, naming conventions, classifications, and taxonomies across domains and systems.
- Participate in end-to-end testing and certification of data products; validate new data sources and transformations.
- Build and manage data quality dashboards, exception reports, and metadata repositories to support business and compliance needs.
- As a Senior Data Analyst, you will support the Data Product Manager by helping unlock the full potential of data across our platform, delivering innovative solutions for a wide range of use cases.
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- Experience in data warehouse design, data management, data governance, business intelligence, or analytics
- Proficiency in SQL and hands-on experience with visualization tools such as Power BI and Qlik
- Experience using or implementing data governance tools such as Collibra, AWS DataZone, Alation, Atlan, or data.world (tech stack may vary)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deliver impactful presentations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Preferences:
- Wealth management and wealth advisory services industry experience.
- Prior experience in a data product management role
- Agile and lean delivery methods and associated tools like Confluence, Jira, etc.
- Solid understanding of relational databases, star, snowflake data modeling.
- A willingness and ability to travel up to 80% to client sites
- A driver’s license valid in the U.S.
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Science (MS) preferred
- Prior consulting experience

- We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $106,900 to $176,500. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $128,400 to $200,600. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
