Project and Team:
Team play an important role in Market Risk, CCAR Stress Testing, Daily P&L & PAA, Counterparty Credit Risk calculations on daily basis, while delivering the results to internal stakeholders via next-gen operational dashboards with set of real-time scorecards and drilldowns to govern their completeness and accuracy.
We are using a tech stack consisting of Java, AWS, OpenShift, Docker, Kafka, Kinetica, REST, React
Our team size is ~50 people including developers, DevOps, DBAs and PMs
We're following agile methodology.
Responsibilities:
Contribute to full lifecycle of software development, including analysis, design, implementation, testing and rollout of new features.
Play key role in code review process by providing feedback to others.
Provide technical guidance and influence over members of the team to maintain high code quality.
Provide operational support on applications to stakeholders.
Consult with users and other technology groups on deliveries and issues, recommend advanced programming solutions.
Be able to operate with a limited level of direct supervision both technically and on project delivery.
Exercise independence of judgement and autonomy, challenge decisions
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in modern Java development
Good understanding of core Java, microservice architecture and distributed system design
Nice to have: Spring, Kafka, Docker, React and SQL knowledge.
Good analytical and communication skills
Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
Fluency in English
