About the Role
The team is looking for a strategic seller to be a founding member of our newly formed Uber Ads division. As a Client Partner, you will be responsible for building mutually beneficial Ads partnerships with CPG partners. You will lead the ads sales strategy for a portfolio of top/mid-market CPG brands and drive the adoption of an expanding suite of ads offerings across our Mobility and Delivery platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional partners to consistently deliver on our partner's needs. You will report to the Team Lead CPG, Uber Advertising.
What You'll Do
- Partner with cross-functional teams will be responsible for developing and executing ads partnership strategies that deliver on your CPG partners’ needs and exceed quarterly growth goals.
- Build relationships with the Director, VP, and C-level marketing executives and key marketing decision-makers within partner organizations
- Employ critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills to navigate relationships and difficult partner conversations.
- Be an indispensable cross-functional partner across the Product, Marketing, and Operations team to ensure we are delivering on partner needs.
- Expand ads product adoption. Communicate the value of our newest ads products with a lens of creativity to differentiate our offering.
- Good understanding of Programmatic, DSPs, and Sponsored Products.
Basic Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in end-to-end Enterprise / Large Customer Digital Advertising Sales
- Experience selling ads solutions to large, complex brands or organizations
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling into large CPG brands, with a specific focus in digital advertising
- Ability to build and implement strategic sales plans that result in success for our partners and Uber
- Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Creative storytelling experience with the ability to use data to quantify opportunities and influence decision-makers
- Strong leadership ability
- Strong hold on Salesforce, Excel, SQL (good to have)
- Speed, resourcefulness, and a go-getter mentality. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and navigating ambiguity
- Agile, and ability to adapt quickly to challenges
For Canada-based roles: The base salary range for this role is CAD$96,500 per year - CAD$107,250 per year.
