You’ll have a sound understanding of computer science fundamentals and practical industry experience, working across the stack with technology involving modern web, SOA, NoSQL databases, AI, ML, Big Data and more.
Key job responsibilities
* Data Infrastructure Development
* Design, develop, and maintain highly scalable data pipelines and workflows on AWS services (e.g. AWS Glue, Lambda, Step functions, Firehose).
* Build and manage data stores using a broad range of technologies including but not limited to Amazon S3, DynamoDB, OpenSearch and related AWS storage services.
* Setup and maintain real-time and batch data processing pipelines with Kinesis, Firehose and related analytics services.
* Data Modeling and Architecture
* Develop optimized, scalable data models tailored for analytics and reporting use cases.
* Architect and implement best practices for a robust data infrastructure.
* Ensure data integrity, governance, and security compliance across systems.
* Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement
* Partner with data scientists, product managers, partner teams’ engineers to understand requirements and deliver data solutions that drive actionable insights.
* Integrate with Connect and AWS-based analytics solutions (e.g. Connect Analytics, Connect Data Lake, Quicksight)
* Advocate for self-service data platforms and democratize data access across teams.
* Leadership and Mentorship
* Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and team members
* Drive code reviews, establish best practices, coding and design standards and foster a culture of continuous improvement
* Emerging Technologies and AWS expertise
* Stay informed about the latest AWS services and evaluate their relevance to enhance the data ecosystem
* Lead the adoption of new AWS analytics and machine learning tools

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
