As a senior member of the Technology Risk Department, you will be responsible for various IT engagements across different industry sectors, in which EY is a market leader, including financial services, energy and utilities, oil and gas, industrial products, retail and consumer products, and real estate.
Your key responsibilities
- Designing and implementing new software solutions in area of Finance/Risk management using various technologies (including low-code/no-code platforms)
- Draft and align solution architecture, allocate development tasks to junior team members, perform code reviews
- Participate in audit engagements, performing testing of IT controls and documenting properly the outcomes and recommendations
- Stay up to date with current business and industry trends relevant to the client’s business, IT audit
- Participate in research and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Interact with clients to collect all necessary data/information, set up and maintain IT documentation (specifications, technical documentation, audit files)
Skills and attributes for success
- 3+ years of experience in IT application development, information security or IT analyst roles
- Deep technical knowledge of operating systems, databases, low-code/no-code platforms, automation software (RPA), application servers, and network devices
- Knowledge and experience in designing and maintaining software applications, good knowledge of JavaScript or other programming languages, knowledge of integration protocols (e.g. REST/SOAP/RPC APIs), knowledge of SAP and/or BI Tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)
- Ability to author technical and non-technical documents for different stakeholders
- Knowledge of IT standards (COBIT, ITIL, ISO 2700x, and others)
- Excellent, proven communication skills both oral and in writing, in English and Romanian
- Proficient in Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Creative thinking, problem-solving orientation and attention to detail with a commitment to high quality and accuracy
- Self-motivated, with a desire to exceed expectations and interest in different fields of consultancy
- Bachelor's or Master's degree
