What you'll do...

Your daily work may include the following:

• Inspect components of eMotors such as rotors and stators.
• Assemble test sample electrical motors.
• Instrument inverters and electrical motors for test with thermocouples, accelerometers, voltage and current probes, microphones and other equipment.
• Prepare test setups in lab environment including high voltage testers, thermal chambers, power cyclers, ovens, dynos, chillers, coolant conditioning units, and data acquisition systems.
• Conduct testing based on test procedures and assist in the troubleshooting of test setups.
• Support test lab operations including shipping/receiving/inventory of test samples and test setup parts, facility maintenance, and test equipment calibration.
• Fabricate High Voltage and Low Voltage wiring harnesses and test fixtures to support eDrive testing for power electronics and electrical machines.
• Assemble various test fixtures and complete fabrication for custom parts.
