This role will be responsible for the bank guarantees process globally as well as bank account maintenance for the assigned region. In this position, you will complete ‘Know Your Customer’ activities, banking services reviews and take part in improvement projects in Treasury area. You will become a member of Global Treasury Team by providing support and assistance to our internal customers. You will also ensure compliance with external regulations and internal controls.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serves as primary security administrator on corporate banking platforms: user setup / modification / deletion, password resets, tokens assignment and user/account limits administration
- Maintains Service Now online banking requests according to the company policies and following Treasury Process Narrative and serves as data steward of Treasury Service Now
- Reviews online banking setup and services on monthly basis to ensure terminated employees’ accesses are removed
- Conducts quarterly online banking users access verification in accordance to Treasury Process Narrative
- Prepares and distributes Global Cash Report on weekly basis
- Provides bank account details and payments instructions on demand
- Support Maintenance of Bank Accounts (under supervision of more senior colleagues) – contact bank representative regarding requirements for KYC, opening / closing bank accounts and updating signatories with guidance from more senior staff
- Prepares bank account maintenance documentation for KYC, opening / closing bank accounts and updating signatories with guidance from more senior staff
- Serves as technical support for AP wire payments and payroll authorization
- Prepares routine and ad hoc reports
- Downloads reports and statements from electronic banking systems
- Ensures compliance with Company Policies, procedures and SOX controls
- May be required to participate in internal and external audit
- Ensures all deadlines are met
- Works under moderate supervision
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Understanding of basic banking products and terminology (either from university, prior experience and/or daily live)
- Good knowledge of English, both written and spoken
- Very good knowledge of Excel and other MS Office applications
- Analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to question requests coming from more senior employees
- Effective time and tasks management skills to meet deadlines and assist team members in completing all other deliverables on time
- Master's degree in Finance or Accounting, equivalent major will be an asset
- Previous experience in an international treasury/finance/accounting environment will be an asset
- Knowledge of online banking and other treasury software will be an asset
