The Role:
Key job responsibilities- Perform CAD design work and drawing detailing- Support architecture determination and designing the propulsion system configuration
- Assist in prototype builds, prototype tests, part modifications and inspecting/testing prototype hardwareExport Control Requirement:Redmond, WA, USA

- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or equivalent.
- 5+ years experience with mechanical design in the aerospace industry
- 5+ years experience with CAD SW tools (NX, Solidworks etc.)
- 3+ years experience with spacecraft electrical, thermal, and mechanical environments

- Master's degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or equivalent.
- Successful history of transitioning spacecraft hardware from ideation to flight-readiness
- 5+ years experience with spacecraft electrical, thermal, and mechanical environments
- 3+ years experience working with Siemens NX
- 3+ years experience with design for high-vacuum / space environments
- 5+ years experience with system-level interface documentation.
- 3+ years experience with project organization tools (e.g. JIRA)
- 3+ years experience introducing mechanical designs into production environments
- Experience with system design
- Experience with part machining, tool-setups and CAM setup/use
