Employee communications specialist – Employee Engagement Communications
This role is based in Seattle, WA, and is expected to participate in our office-based culture.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Works with the senior director of the Employee and Executive Communications Team to create and manage engaging employee events that support F5’s business and culture including F5’s quarterly company employee meeting, manager meetings, and others along with connected programs across digital and traditional channels.
- Create, launch, and measure communications to help illustrate value and gain data for continual improvement.
- Establish globally repeatable processes, templates, and best practices around employee events to create a consistent experience for all employees.
- Collaborate with employees and leaders across the company to ensure events and communications are inclusive of F5’s diverse employee base.
- Consult with leaders and teams to position and align communications efforts.
- Effectively use data to measure program impacts and inform future work.
Other Responsibilities:
- Writing, editing, project management, and other duties as assigned.
- Able to create engaging PowerPoint slides and presentations and video content is a definite plus!
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Experience creating, managing, and measuring high impact employee events and communications.
- Experience in working and collaborating with international colleagues to represent our global culture.
- Creative ideation, writing and editing skills, development of original content and the ability to construct well-written stories, PowerPoint presentations, and short video content.
- Strong project management and execution experience, including measurement.
- Creative “doer” balanced with an appreciation for data and metrics.
Qualifications
- BA degree in communications or similar work experience
- 5 or more years’ experience employee communications or agency experience
- Entrepreneurial spirit with a focus on collaboration and relationship building
- Team focused while also able to operate independently and own assigned work

The annual base pay for this position is: $92,382.00 - $138,574.00
