Advisory Designer, IBM Corporation, Austin, TX (Up to 40% telecommuting permitted):
- Design the user experience of the company’s Cloud platform, validate new technologies and explore potential applications of Generative AI through user research methodologies.
- Create user journey maps, user flows, information architecture, site maps, and wireframes to define user experiences.
- Design and demonstrate detailed interaction design through storyboards, mock-ups, and clickable prototypes in Figma.
- Test and validate working hypothesis with users through usability testing and participate in design critique.
- Collaborate with Design researchers to understand user needs and translate requirements into compelling user experiences.
- Collaborate with UI designers to define end-to-end detailed interfaces and interactions.
- Create prototypes applying the internal design language, through the internal carbon design system.
- Communicate design decisions to product managers and stakeholders, advocating for a user-centered process.
