Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements for data construction, metrics development, and offline pipeline building, focusing on enhancing mission understanding through innovative data science techniques.Design and implement scalable data pipelines capable of processing and analyzing large datasets to improve search and shopping experiences. Must have a strong background in data science, data engineering, and computational sciences.Develop robust metrics to measure and enhance the effectiveness of data pipelines and ML models, ensuring continuous improvement of the shopper experience.Lead the management and experimentation of data pipelines and ML models at scale, applying advanced data science techniques to optimize science solutions.Serve as a technical lead and liaison for data science projects, facilitating collaboration across teams and addressing technical challenges. Requires strong leadership and communication skills, with a PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.

- 2+ years of data scientist experience
- 3+ years of data querying languages (e.g. SQL), scripting languages (e.g. Python) or statistical/mathematical software (e.g. R, SAS, Matlab, etc.) experience
- 3+ years of machine learning/statistical modeling data analysis tools and techniques, and parameters that affect their performance experience
- Experience applying theoretical models in an applied environment
