Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
Proficient in coding in one or more languages Python, Java, and Spring Boot
Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages
Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle
Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security. Knowledge of GIT, BitBucket, Jenkins, SONAR, SPLUNK, Maven, AIM and Continuous Delivery tools
Good understanding of data life cycle in the firm
Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
Specialized ETL knowledge such as Spark ETL or Ab Initio
Working knowledge of Kubernetes, Dockers, any other containers technology
Working knowledge of Cloud, such as AWS
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Understanding and implemented Data Bricks on a public Cloud like AWS
Knowledge/experience in Hadoop environment administration, release deployments to Hive/HBase, supervising Hadoop jobs, performing cluster coordination services will be preferable.
Strong analysis, research, investigation, and evaluation skills, with a structured approach to problem solving.
UNIX file management & administration and good shell scripting experience
