We are seeking a Developer Engineer with expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevOps to boost the productivity and efficiency of our development teams. Your key responsibilities will include developing tools, frameworks, and documentation that enable developers to efficiently build, test, and deploy infrastructure and services. You will specifically support developers focused on code-based infrastructure and service development, including the design and implementation of secure cloud-based environments. This role is crucial in enhancing both the productivity and happiness of our developer community.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement cloud-based solutions using technologies like GCP, Azure, and AWS leveraging Terraform and Ansible to support our secure development environments.
- Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines to improve the build, test, and deployment processes, ensuring seamless, automated workflows.
- Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to identify challenges and inefficiencies in our current infrastructure and propose innovative solutions.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation and guides to assist developers in effectively utilizing our IaC frameworks and DevOps practices.
- Drive adoption of new technology and lead initiatives to standardize development environments and tools across projects to ensure consistency and reliability.
- Evaluate new technologies and tools that can enhance our IaC and DevOps capabilities.
- Act as a bridge between the technical teams and management to ensure that the infrastructure needs of developers are met and aligned with business objectives.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in software development or developer relations, with a focus on improving the developer experience.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Go) and familiarity with modern development tools and practices.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts and engage with the developer community.
