Please review the following job description:
Responsible for providing support to Business Unit Leaders (BU) to effectively manage risks within assigned Business Units (BU) as required by enterprise policy and Enterprise Risk Management programs.

Oversee strategic efforts to identify report, prioritize, and manage risks and/or control deficiencies, including emerging risks and risks/controls that span multiple business units. Accountabilities include serving as a subject matter expert for assigned business units, including strong awareness of internal and external risks, industry best practices, current and emerging technologies, business unit(s) regulation and requirements, and corrective action processes.

Provide forward-looking guidance and thought leadership around data-driven and/or technology-based solutions that can improve efficiency, effectiveness and decrease risk. Partner with applicable second line of defense groups to ensure technology risks are appropriately managed.

8+ years progressive work related experience including audit, consulting, operations, process engineering, or risk management in the financial services industry5+ years supervisory or management level experience.Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skillsStrong knowledge of operational and other non-financial risksProven leadership and management skillsExcellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to operate without close supervisionCapability of handling multiple projects concurrentlyDemonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products
