Job Description:
The Merchant Servicing Platform Engineering team is responsible for keeping the merchant platform reliable and scalable for servicing all merchants and partners across the world. You will be playing a major role in ensuring the utmost quality and reliability of our merchant platforms ensuring that our merchants and partners can integrate without any issues.
Your day to day
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to identify testing requirements for new features, including functional tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests.
- Lead multiple projects simultaneously while providing guidance to the team leads.
- Prepare test strategies, test plans, and test cases, and execute tests effectively.
- Develop automation frameworks to address complex problems and provide guidance on automation strategies to extend the capabilities to support new features.
- Automate and maintain test cases to improve coverage and ensure successful future regression runs.
- Define standard coding practices and conduct thorough code reviews.
- Develop and communicate process improvements, standards, and best practices to the team.
- Provide regular updates on project status to all stakeholders.
- Facilitate the handoff of projects to team members in different time zones.
- Oversee and provide input for ongoing process improvements.
What do you need to bring-
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- Over 12 years of experience in quality engineering.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear and concise documentation.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to coordinate multiple projects with teams across various time zones.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, multitasking, and debugging skills.
- Extensive experience in defining and executing test strategies, test plans, and test cases.
- Experience in developing full-stack customer-facing applications and testing tools.
- Experienced in developing test automation frameworks using Java and JavaScript, along with tools such as Playwright and Selenium.
- Hands-on experience in automating and maintaining both API and UI test cases.
- Experience working with REST APIs, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS.
- Experienced in testing tools, including Postman.
- Experienced in defect management tools, such as Jira.
- Experienced in source code management using Git.
- Experienced in Jenkins and experienced in ECI/ECD pipelines.
- Proven ability to lead multiple projects and collaborate with teams across various time zones.
- Experienced in using AI for test case and test automation development.
- Experience in Node.js application development is a plus.

The US national annual pay range for this role is $152,500 to $262,350
