You will help lead the engineering due diligence efforts for new and expanding regions, while maintaining the highest performance standards and utilizing innovation to reduce budgets and increase efficiency.You will work directly with our Real Estate, Risk and Resiliency, Design and Pre-Construction teams on global designs.Utilizing your Civil Engineer knowledge, you will assist in data center site selection, review of due diligence reports, contribute to site planning and development and play a pivotal role in the delivery of data center designs.
The Global Strategy Engineer - Civil responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders during the due diligence phase to oversee the process and ensure design requirements are considered
- Ability to work on concurrent projects in multiple geographical regions.

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience with industrial/ commercial design or experience directly related to data center infrastructure and data center planning.
- Proficient in related civil design software such as Civil 3D or equivalent.
- Proficient with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, Navisworks, sketch up and MS Office Suite.
- Proficiency in building codes, regulations, and standard including Local and international standards.
- Proficiency in earthworks, grading, paving, storm water, utility design and landscaping.

- Master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- 8+ years of experience with industrial/ commercial design or experience directly related to data center infrastructure and data center planning.
- Familiar with Substation design, HV/MV distribution systems.
- Possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, maintain high quality standards
- Proficient in related civil design software such as Civil 3D or equivalent.
- Proficient with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, Navisworks, sketch up and MS Office Suite.
- Proficiency in building codes, regulations, and standard including Local and international standards.
- Proficiency in earthworks, grading, paving, storm water, utility design and landscaping.
