The Difference You Will Make:

You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day food service operations and overseeing all food service vendors in the San Francisco office. You will work with the local Workplace team and other local cross-functional office operations partners to support the creation and implementation of a robust and upleveled food and catering program. Enhancing the hospitality experience of our food service and building a program with the future in mind are key to the success of this role. This role is right for you if you have a passion for hospitality, a strategic vision for food service and event catering in a corporate office setting, and a broad depth of expertise in the industry.

A Typical Day:

  • Evolve the office food program and catering services to align with the shifting office and event operations, social gatherings, and workplace programming.
  • Oversee continuous adjustments to the program to ensure it enhances culture, sustainability, wellbeing and inclusiveness, always with a focus on both the employee experience and visitor experience.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local food vendors, and oversee the onboarding of select vendors, to maintain an active and robust list of suppliers to be leveraged as needed and in support of the program evolution.
  • Manage the food budget, identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
  • Closely monitor the catering program to ensure effective operations and processes are in place, work with the events teams to make adjustments and implement improvements as needed.

Your Expertise:

  • 8+ years of experience in the food service industry.
  • Relevant experience managing programs in food and event catering services within a corporate company required.
  • Proven organizational skills, ability to prioritize in order to meet deadlines and provide high quality service to clients.
  • Business acumen specific to managing budgets, detecting anomalies, and forecasting.
  • Examples of strong customer service and hospitality experience.
  • Proven track record of establishing relationships across functions and with both internal and external partners.
  • Strong analytical, conceptual thinking, strategic planning, and execution skills.
  • Knowledge of food industry best practices.
  • Passion for events and hospitality.

This position needs to be based in the San Fransisco office 40 hours a week, or as required by the business needs for the role.

Pay Range
$157,500 USD
