What you will do

• Lead projects across multiple engineers
• Help architect the future of the Grocery and Retail Customer Experience to allow for seamless scalability across large catalogs
• Deliver high quality, performant code that extends the capabilities of the Grocery and Retail Customer Experience
• Partner with stakeholders across a dozen teams to align, build, coordinate, and release highly impactful features
• Mentor more junior engineers on best practices

Basic Qualification

• PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field OR 3-years full-time Software Engineering work experience, WHICH INCLUDES 2-years total technical software engineering experience in one or more of the following areas:
• Programming language (e.g. C, C++, Java, Python, or Go)

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of BE experience designing and shipping projects at scale
• Experience working on production critical code bases that are used by 10s of millions of users monthly
• Experience on product teams building highly performant products
• Experience in latency optimizations and solutions that are outside the box

For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$185,000 per year - USD$205,500 per year.
