Responsibilities:
Acting as a Subject Matter Expert for SAP FICO modules.
Acting as a liaison between the business functions and the technical team.
Supporting ongoing business operations, resolving critical incidents and realizing continuous improvement opportunities.
Providing ad-hoc training and user support as required.
Working with business and cross-functional teams to gather business user requirements, drive functional design and deliver high-quality digital solutions within the SAP FICO.
Configuring and setting-up the system as per agreed requirements and solutions.
Working with the technical consultants to develop RICEF components as per business needs.
Developing, reviewing, and maintaining comprehensive documentation for all SAP changes, including requirements specifications, functional design documents, configuration changes, and test plans. Ensuring all documentation meets the stringent standards required for pharmaceutical regulatory compliance.
Proactively identifying and proposing business process and/or system enhancements.
Keeping abreast of SAP updates, developments, and best practices in FICO modules.
Required Qualifications
Strong professional hands-on experience with SAP FICO modules.
Experience with SAP implementation and/or roll-out projects. Preferably including one full life cycle implementation.
Required Technical Skills
Strong understanding of SAP FICO configuration and customization.
Proficiency in SAP modules such as General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA).
SAP CO knowledge would be an asset.
Deep understanding of business processes as well as good knowledge of technical issues in the area of financial modules.
Experience in FI integration points with other SAP modules like MM, SD, PP.
Understanding of various integration methods between SAP and external systems, including but not limited to BAPIs, IDocs, RFCs, and modern APIs will be a plus.
ABAP debugging skills will be a plus.
Experience with S/4HANA is a plus.
