2nd & 3rd 8 hour shifts available
In this role, you will be responsible for the manual assembly processes, packaging, labeling, palletizing, and housekeeping activities. Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring quality, entering dimensional and production reporting information into the shop floor process monitoring system or alternate documentation system, and ensuring that the work area is maintained in a neat and orderly manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Expected to be available to work in all areas of the manufacturing/production factory floor.
- Perform molding, secondary operation equipment, manual assembly operations, packaging, labeling and palletizing functions within your assigned work cell.
- Monitors the process. Perform product inspection including visual, sampling, and testing as specified in the S.O.I.
- Collect process data as specified by S.O.I.
- Maintain documentation of quality as specified by policy and procedure.
- Maintain work areas in a neat and orderly fashion as specified by safety and GMP regulations.
- Performs routine cleaning and care functions of equipment.
- Controls and maintains proper identification of product.
- Notifies the technician of process deviations or machine malfunctions.
- Works cooperatively with others.
- Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience is preferred.

Physical and Mental Requirements:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly stands, walks, talks, and hears.
- The employee continuously is required to use hands to handle, feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
- Employee is required to lift and place (empty or full cartons) on an average of 180 cartons during an 8-hour period and 270 cartons during a 12- hour period, with lifting height, of empty or full cartons, ranging from 5 inches to 60 inches.
- Employeeis requiredto use a Lift ‘N Go when reaching and/or lifting with hands and armsabove shoulders and/or head.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- 20/30 vision, at a minimum, at near and/or far with a least one eye with or without corrective lenses.
- Must pass a color deficiency screening.
- Required to watch and listen for alarms (red lights) on manufacturing equipment.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. Hearing protection required on the manufacturing floor.
- Exposure to heat and cold.
- While performing the duties of the job, the employee will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and be a self-starter able to work successfully and efficiently with minimal direction or supervision.
- Job requires mental skill or ability such as communication, decision making (sometimes quick), interpreting data, reading or writing, organization, problem solving, understand direction, etc.
