Required/Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related field AND 4+ years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience
    • OR Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related field and 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience
    • OR equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to form and influence cross-functional partnerships to deliver high-value projects both as an individual and through v-teams with business partnering skills
  • Partnering capabilities, with the ability to influence others without direct authority and appropriately push back when required.
  • Proven data and financial modeling capabilities and ability to work with financial systems
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines, quickly prioritize for impact and the resourcefulness to deliver
  • Comfort working at multiple altitudes, from strategic/high-level projected to detailed process implementation

Responsibilities
  • Provides business leader support and actionable insights during financial close periods. Reviews recurring financial reporting and presentations. Identifies trends and formulates action plans. Identifies variance causes and solutions. Collaborates to ensure execution of plans and accountability for results.
  • Delivers analysis, modeling, and research to support preliminary and adjusted forecast cycles. Assists in the execution of annual business planning and forecasting process. Partners and solicits insight from engineering and finance stakeholders.
  • Model savings efficiencies and size investment opportunities and Return on Investment/Lifetime Value: Customer Acquisition Cost (ROI/LTV:CAC). Partner with Engineering and Revenue finance to ensure that business investment decisions are aligned to long-term profitability benchmarks.
  • Guide process optimization and simplification, improving efficiency and effectiveness of core finance activities and reporting through automation, data visualization, process excellence and analytics.
  • Communicates results in a compelling and understandable message. Articulates understanding and awareness of business partner situation.
  • Provides advice and direction to teammates and peers on data management and operations.
